travel razzle

the thought of going to a faraway land, getting lost in a foreign place and speaking new languages... is so liberating. number 1 fact about me is that i love travelling but i lack the money so if you're feeling extra generous you can fund me!!!!!!!!$!!!$$!!!! #kidding but my family is thinking of saving up to go to europe, places include santorini, mykonos, venice, paris and london!!!!! but that's quite indefinite because of the hdb balloting and we don't know the results yet but either way, we're saving up. gonna do some research right now and will let you know how it goes x

passion for cooking

today, i found out that my name is english and some say that it's french, but either way it means beloved, which i really adore. one website says that it's more passé than cheryl and I feel really attacked right now (i sound like an annoying tumblr user here) i don't hate my name but i'm okay with it, just not particularly fond of it but I much rather prefer an english name than a typical 2 syllabus chinese one. i've named my blog url sherylclaire but claire is pretty much temporary, might change it anytime I find a more suitable one for baptism, don't wanna get too attached with this (tentative) middle name.

i've been cooking/messing up the kitchen and trying out recipes quite frequently during this semester break. made pancakes, mac and cheese, salad, grilled chicken breasts, cookie cups (which failed miserably and my dad ended up throwing the cups away because the cookies were stubborn and refused to break but yeah my bad) and a variety of juices and popsicles. am I housewife material yet?  kidding but I just love idea of whipping up something which you've made yourself and basically, i love food plus nothing can go wrong unless you burn down your kitchen or something but i really find enjoyment out of cooking!!!!!!!
